2014 Freestyle Olympic Uniforms

To be included in the design process like that was fantastic — that is exactly what it takes to create world-class uniforms like these.
— U.S. freestyle mogul skier Heather McPhie

Working hand-in-hand with Columbia, the 2014 U.S. Freestyle Ski Team Olympic uniforms were created using a subtle “course camo” pattern while integrating traditional red, white and blue elements in a modern, simplistic approach. The “course camo” pattern represents the bumps moguls skiers compete in, hiding the tiniest imperfections while a skier competes.

Customizable components like interchangeable shoulder patches, custom nameplates, and removable pockets allowed the athletes to make their uniform their own without compromising the cohesive look of the team.

Making the USA (and everyone who worked on the Olympic uniforms) proud, Hannah Kearney entered the final round of the moguls competition with the highest qualification score and took home her second Olympic medal, a bronze.
