Challenge

The Utah Department of Natural Resources logo was dated and not indicative of Utah or the Department’s divisions.

Solution

I was instrumental in developing and creating a badge set indicative of a trophy – elevating Utah to the highest of standards. Each division is depicted with an easy to identify, yet strategic, icon and color using Utah’s mountains as a consistent tie-in. The logo set was developed over a course of 8 months to ensure proper research and input from all divisions and levels of the Department.
